Mr.
Pellicano is now serving a 30 month sentence in federal prison for
illegal weapons possession. Pellicano
may be getting released early before serving even half his sentence for
having enough illegal explosives in his possession to blow up a
standard passenger jet. He
remarried in Las Vegas the weekend prior
to surrendering and did not spend the time with any of his nine
children or prior five wives. There is still an investigative Grand
Jury ongoing in Los Angeles probing wiretap (and extortion) issues with
Mr. Pellicano and many of his celebrity clients but remains virtually
invisible from current media attention. The Assistant
U.S. Attorney
is Daniel Saunders (213)892-2272 and appears to remain the primary
prosecutor on the case. There are at least three civil lawsuits that
have
been begun since Mr. Pellicano's imprisonment pertaining to his illegal
use of electronic surveillance or harassment and intimidation of the
claimants. Mr. Pellicano is currently advertising his new book which he
wrote while in prison for $500,000 on Google and it is being sold on
Amazon. It is called "Life Under the Stars". One of his exwives, Kate
Pellicano, is also due to publish a tell all book very shortly if not
already out. Anthony Pellicano is still advertising on the Internet to
legal firms and other interested parties as an audio tape and
surveillance expert though he technically dissolved his corporation
early in 2004.
